Get on the Bus: Post Game Tent
First, I'd like to welcome Mikaela Ruef to the left side of the bus and Joslyn Tinkle to the right side!
Second, Kellee Noonan will have the Bus at the post-game tent if you still want to sign up for a side! We will be starting at the Utah game on 11/27. Utah is Michelle's game, so all you right-siders, be sure to bring your friends to support Michelle! The Gonzaga game on 11/29 is Nneka's game, so left-siders, this is your chance! We will have the poster and stickers at the marketing table on the concourse, so you'll be able to get a sticker and stick it on the poster when you come in. Sound like a plan? GAME ON.
And third, be sure to come today and check out the fantastic halftime we have planned! Unicycle basketball and a knockout competition!

Nothing But Nets
Every 30 seconds, a child dies from malaria in Africa. Nothing But Nets is an organization which provides bed nets for children in Africa to protect them from the mosquitoes which carry malaria. As these mosquitoes only come out at night, bed nets are needed to protect sleeping children and families from this devastating disease.
Nothing But Nets calls people to "Send a Net. Save a Life.", which is what Stanford Women's Basketball and the First United Methodist Church of Palo Alto are doing at tomorrow's game. So far, 100 bed nets have been purchased!
Check out the display to learn more, as well as receive Nothing But Nets giveaways!

Vanguard's Awesome Halftime
Just a quick heads up - we have a great halftime act planned for this Sunday, as Stanford's wrestling team will be performing during our game against Vanguard! This is your chance for a sneak preview of the wrestling team before the team opens its season with a wrestle-off on November 6. Last season, Stanford Wrestling won eight duals, had four top-three Pac-10 placers, and sent two wrestlers to compete for a national title at the NCAA Championships. Prepare to be entertained!October 21, 2009

I'm on the Bus, Are You?
Hey Everyone,
I want to tell you about the newest Women's Basketball promotion: a season-long attendance competition.
DETERMINING THE GREATEST SIDE
Each game will feature a player or coach from either the Right or Left Side. When a player from your Side is featured, bring your friends! Each new fan attending on behalf of the featured player counts as a point toward that player’s Side. Play along and help your favorite players earn points by inviting your friends on her behalf as well!
GOALS & BENEFITS
- Introduce new fans to Stanford Women’s Basketball through FBC fans who love the game
- Increase awareness of Stanford Women’s Basketball in the community.

Why Write This Blog?
LET’S FILL MAPLES! I'm sure you've seen our home schedule. We need to put more butts in the seats to give our team every opportunity to be successful against the tough competition this season will bring!
Ever shown up to a game and not known there was a whiteout? a food drive? a giveaway? This blog will bring an end to that, as it is a resource for inside information on Stanford’s marketing and promotions. Check it out for information on game themes, charity initiatives, and ways to help fill the stands. The goal of this blog is to provide a heads up for marketing efforts and, ultimately, allow everyone to be involved in increasing home attendance.
We must not rest until we fill Maples Pavilion and consistently sell out games for our team! Are you with me??
Until Every Seat Is Filled,
Sarah Boruta
